Following an initial consultation, a specifically trained practitioner carries out the treatment. The tissue within the skin is precisely heated at the dermis — the inner layer of the skin — using the Radio Frequency system.
Radiofrequency is completely safe and incorporates the necessary safety precautions, having been used on thousands of patients worldwide. Little or no discomfort should be experienced — patients often describe the feeling as a warm massage, and most tolerate the treatment just fine.
You will see results straight away, as the treatment immediately tightens the deeper structures of the skin. As you progress through your course, results become increasingly visible as new collagen develops and the skin is tightened further — for firmer, plumper skin.
Electrology is the science of permanent hair removal. A minute amount of electricity is gently applied to the base of the hair follicle, destroying the growth tissue and permanently eliminating regenerative ability. It has been practiced safely since 1875, works on everyone, and allows selective targeting for shaping eyebrows or thinning dense areas.
Pulsed-light systems use hand-held flash lamps that emit gentle pulses absorbed by the skin. The method — selective photothermolysis — destroys a specified target without damaging surrounding tissue. When treating fine wrinkles and large pores, the light stimulates collagen growth so the skin glows and looks more youthful.
The typical regimen is 6–12 sessions, with intervals of 4–6 weeks for the face and 6–8 weeks for the body. About 20–25% of hair follicles are in the growth phase at any given time — the percentage that can be destroyed in a single session — which is why multiple treatments are necessary.
They are non-invasive and safe with minimum side effects. During the procedure a slight, momentary stinging sensation may be felt, but not pain.
This procedure uses Radio Frequency waves to produce heat under the skin, effectively targeting and breaking down fat cells. The fat is then absorbed by the lymphatic system. It is non-invasive, works on all skin types, and requires no downtime.
